Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the turkey generously inside and out with salt and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing mixture.
- Place the turkey breast-side up in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
- Boil the mixed vegetables for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Combine the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Bake the pumpkin dish in the oven alongside the turkey for about 30 minutes.
- Roast the turkey for 3 hours, removing the foil in the last 30 minutes.
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
