Ingredients
  

For the Turkey
  • 1 each Turkey Fresh quality turkey preferred
  • to taste tbsp Salt
  • to taste tbsp Pepper
  • 1 cup Stuffing Mixture Use gluten-free bread or cornbread
For the Sides
  • 2 cups Mixed Vegetables e.g., carrots, peas
  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree Fresh or canned
For the Pumpkin Dish
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with coconut milk
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Maple syrup can be used

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the turkey generously inside and out with salt and pepper.
  3. Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing mixture.
  4. Place the turkey breast-side up in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  5. Boil the mixed vegetables for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  6. Combine the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  7. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  8. Bake the pumpkin dish in the oven alongside the turkey for about 30 minutes.
  9. Roast the turkey for 3 hours, removing the foil in the last 30 minutes.
  10. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
