How to Make Pavlova Cake
- Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).

- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

- Whisk the egg whites in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form (2-3 minutes).

- Gradually add the superfine sugar while continuing to whisk until stiff peaks form (5-7 minutes).

- Fold in the cream of tartar, corn starch, vanilla extract, and salt; whisk until fully combined.

- Spoon the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a circle about 8-10 inches in diameter.

- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour 15 minutes until dry to the touch with a light golden hue.

- Cool the pavlova in the oven with the door slightly ajar for about 1 hour.

- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

- Spread the whipped cream on top of the cooled pavlova.

- Decorate with fresh berries, a dusting of powdered sugar, and mint leaves.
