  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour Substitute with gluten-free flour if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Quality olive oil is recommended.
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup Zaatar Adjust according to personal taste preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the warm water, granulated sugar, and instant yeast. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add salt, olive oil, and all-purpose flour to the yeast mixture. Stir until it forms a soft dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while the dough rises.
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out to your desired thickness. Spread the zaatar over the top.
  7. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle a little more zaatar before serving warm.
