How to Make Malibu Chicken
- Pound boneless chicken breasts to a thickness of ¼-½ inch; season generously with salt and pepper.
- Arrange three dishes—one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and a third filled with Panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it in the eggs, and then coat thoroughly with Panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Pan-fry the breaded chicken in olive oil or butter for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Layer ham and Swiss cheese on top of each piece of chicken.
- Place the dish in the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Drizzle the creamy mustard sauce over the cooked chicken right before serving.
