- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 8 or 9-inch square baking pan by greasing it with nonstick spray or lining it with parchment paper.
- Mix together melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until well combined. Add the mashed ripe bananas.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, level it out, and sprinkle granulated sugar over the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting.
