Ingredients
  

For the Patties
  • 1 can Canned Salmon Ensure it's well-drained.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Can substitute with any cooking oil.
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter Can substitute with more olive oil for dairy-free.
  • 1 medium Yellow Onion Finely diced.
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper Seeded and diced.
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs Regular breadcrumbs can be used.
  • 1 large Egg Beat lightly before adding.
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt Can swap for fine sea salt and garlic powder.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley Chopped, fresh is preferred.

How to Make Salmon Patties
  1. Sauté Vegetables: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper until golden (about 7-9 minutes).
  2. Prepare Mixture: In a large bowl, combine drained salmon, sautéed vegetables, Panko crumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, black pepper, and parsley. Mix well.
  3. Form Patties: Shape the mixture into patties, approximately 2 inches wide and 1/3 to 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Fry Patties: Heat remaining oil and butter in a skillet and fry patties in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Drain & Serve: Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil and serve.
